Northwest Reiki Association

Outreach

Get Involved!   Volunteer today!

Our mission is to provide Reiki sessions to the local community  We serve as a bridge between complementary healing and the medical community, by raising awareness and increasing the understanding of Reiki and how it can be used. We also offer support and networking for Reiki practitioners.

The more we each get involved in the outreach opportunities, the more Reiki touches lives and will grow in our community. We wish to thank all of our members for their selfless dedication in sharing their time and talents with the community. You continue to be a vital part of our organization.  Without you, Northwest Reiki Association would not be able to accomplish our mission.

Special Events

Pamper the People - February 2012
Susan
G. Komen Race for the Cure Health Expo- September 2012
Portland Women’s Show- October 2012

At these events NWRA sets up a massage table and a massage chair to give Reiki sessions.  NWRA members volunteer their time giving 15 minutes sessions during these events.  The cost for a 15 minute Reiki session is $5; typically practitioners charge anywhere from $40 – 70 per hour session.  Our intention is to raise the awareness and increase understanding of Reiki and how it can be used.  The money raised at the event covers the cost of the booth space and any extra helps support NWRA throughout the year.
